NOTIFICATION
It is proposed to fill up one post of WC Maistry, Grop ‘C’ under
the Lakshadweep PWD in the Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200+Grade pay
Rs.1900/- as per the terms and conditions as stipulated in the existing RR
for the post of WC Maistry. The post is reserved/ indentified for physically
handicapped persons by the Administration having the following
disabilities as noted below as per the Govt. of India Instructions.
I. (1) Orthopaedically handicapped persons.
(i.e., One arm and /or one leg effected or both legs effected
but no arms effected and).OR
(2) Deaf/Partially deaf.
II. Other requirements as per RR.
(3) Educational Qualification:-
l). Matriculation or equivalent and
ll). At least three years training /study in civil works
from a recongnized institute.
(4) Age limit:- 18 to 25 years (relaxable for Govt Servant, ST
up to 40 Years).
Eligible candidates may apply in plain paper with attested copies
of certificates proof of Age and Educational qualification (with mark list),
Cast and Medical Certifiate showing the disability for 40% and above
etc., and submit to the Superintending Engineer, Lakshadweep PWD,
Kavaratti to reach on or before 16.08.2010 at 5 pm. Applications received
without attested copies of Certificates, proof of age and educational qualifications
and after the date mentioned above will not be considered.
