This Mission Director (National Rural Health Mission), U.T. of
Lakshadweep, Kavar atti invites applications from qualified local Scheduled Tribe
candidates for appointment for the post of Staff Nurse on contract basis for the
proposed Intensive Care Unit at Govt. Hospital, Minicoy and Community Health
Centre, Andrott initially for one year under National Rural Health Mission. The
details of contractual post, qualifications required etc. are given below :

1. Consolidated Pay 8 1. Pass in PDC/10+2 or equivalent with
Rs. 12,000/- per month Science group.
2. Successful completion of Diploma
Course in General Nursing and
Midwifery conducted by a Central/
State Govt. Institution or a private
institution recognised by the
Central/ State Govt. for the purpose
for a period of 3 years and having a
valid certificate of registration in
the Nursing Council or Degree in
Nursing is approved by Nursing
Council.

Application in plain paper with attested copies of certificates such as
Mark lists, Educational qualifications, Scheduled Tribe Certificate, Experience
etc. should be sent to the Mission Director (NRHM), Department of Medical and
Health Services, Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti to reach within 20
days on publication of this notice. Application received without proof of Educational
qualification, Mark lists and Scheduled Tribe Certificate etc. and the
applications received after the due date will not be considered.
