EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
Applications are invited from the eligible local candidates for appointment
on contract basis for the following posts attached to the departmental
vessels/boats.
1. Name of Post : Engine Driver.
2. No. of Posts : 1 (one).
3. Consolidated Pay : Rs. 12,000/- per month plus admissible
allowances.
4. Qualifications : Pass in SSLC with pass in Engine Driver
Fishing Vessel (18 months)/Marine Fitter Course
(2 years) from CIFNET or equivalent from a
recognised institute and have served for 6
months (180 propulsion days) in the Engine
Room of a Motor vessel having engine of not
less than 85 BHP or 9 months (270 Propulsion
days) in the vessel not less than 40 BHP.
1. Name of Post : Engine Room Assistant.
2. No. of Posts : 1 (one).
3. Consolidated Pay : Rs. 7500/- per month plus admissible
allowances.
4. Qualifications : Pass in SSLC with pass in Engine Driver
Fishing Vessel (18 months)/Marine Fitter Course
(2 years) from CIFNET or equivalent from a
recognised institute.
OR
Pass in SSLC with pass in Shore Mechanic
Course from CIFNET or equivalent from a
recognised institute with 1 year (365 propulsion
days) experience on board vessel having not
less than 85 BHP.
1. Name of Post : Deck Crew.
2. No. of Posts : 1 (one).
3. Consolidated Pay : Rs. 7500/- per month plus admissible
allowances.
4. Qualifications : Pass in SSLC with pass in Mate Fishing Vessel
or Vessel Navigator Course from CIFNET or
equivalent from a recognised institute.
The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for
receipt of applications. Application with attested copies of proof of age, Qualification,
Mark list and Experience certificate should reach to the undersigned on or
before 28th February, 2011. Application received after due date will not be
accepted. The candidates not fulfilling the prescribed qualifications need not apply.
The candidates who have applied for the above posts in response to the
notification No. 32/1/2009-FY dated: 11.09.2009 possessing the prescribed
qualifications may also apply.
