EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
The Directorate of Education, Lakshadweep Administration invites
application from qualified local candidates for the appointment of
Physical Education Teachers on contract basis under Department of
Education on a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten
thousand) only per month for the academic session 2011-2012 excluding
Ramzan holidays and annual vacations. The Educational qualifications
etc. required for the post is as given below :
1. Name of Post : Physical Education Teacher on contract basis
on monthly consolidated remuneration only.
2. Number of
Contract Posts : 24 ( Twenty four).
3. Educational and
other qualifications : Essential Qualification.
BPE (Bachelor of Physical Education)/Graduate
from a recognized university with Bachelor
Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) from a
recognized university.
Desirable Qualification.
Master degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.)
from a recognized university
OR
Master degree in Physical Education (M.P.E.)
from a recognized university.
4. Place of Posting : Lakshadweep.
The age of the candidate for the appointment of Physical
Education Teacher on contract basis is not insisted as prescribed for
Recruitment Rules of the Physical Education Teacher on regular basis.
Application in plain paper with attested copies of certificates with
marks list, Educational qualifications, Scheduled Tribe Certificates/
Nativity Certificates, and higher qualification etc. should be sent to the
Director of Education, Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti so as to
reach on or before 30.04.2011 at 5 pm. Applications received without
proof of Educational qualifications, etc. and after due date and time will
not be entertained.
The selection of candidates will be purely on academic merit of
the applicants while also giving consideration to the applicant's higher
qualifications in the relevant discipline.
