NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the contract appointment
to the post of Driver Operator (6 Posts) under the Fire Protection and
Control, Lakshadweep.
Eligibility
Qualification : 1) SSLC or equivalent.
2) Must Possess current Motor Driving License with endorse
ment for driving heavy goods vehicles or heavy
passenger vehicles with 3 years experience.
Desirable : Ability to drive motor cycle.
Age : 18-25 years (Relaxable for 5 years for Govt. servants,
ex-servicemen and SC/ST candidates.
Height : 5' 5''.
Chest : 32" with minimum expansion of 2".
Scale of pay : Consolidated amount of Rs. 10000.
Eye sight : Must be certified to possess visual standard specified below
without glasses.
i) Right Eye : Distance vision : 6/6
Near vision : 0.5
ii) Left Eye : 6/6 (Snellen)
0.5 (Snellen)
iii) Each eye must have full field of vision.
iv) Colour blidness, squint or any morbid condition of the eyes
or lids of either eye shall be deemed to be a Disqualification.
Eligible candidates may apply in the specified application form with attested
copies of the first and the last pages of SSLC book and other essential/technical
and desirable qualifications etc. with Employment Exchange registration
number to the Superintendent of Police, U.T. of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti. The
applications should reach the office of the Superintendent of Police on or before
20.3.2011 and those applications received after the specified date will not be
considered.
