NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited from the eligible local candidates for contract
appointment to the post of Leading Fireman (6 posts) under Fire Protection and
control Lakshadweep.
ELigibility
Qualification : SSLC or equivalent with Sub Officer COurse of
NFSC Nagpur.
Age : 18-25 years (Relaxable for 5 years for Govt.
servants,
ex-serviceman & SC/ST candidates.
Height : 5’5”.
Chest : 32”with minimum expansion 2”.
Scale of Pay : Consolidated amount of Rs. 11000/- only.
Eye sight : Must be certified to possess visual standard
specified Below
without glasses.
(i) Right Eye : Distance vision : 6/6
Near vision : 0.5
(ii) Left Eye : 6/6 (Snellen)
0.5 (Snellen)
(iii) Each eye must have full field of vision.
(iv) Color blindness, squint or any morbid
condition of the eyes or lids of either eye
shall be deemed to be a Disqualification.
Eligible candidates may apply in the specified application form with
attested copies of first and last pages of SSLC book and other technical qualifications
etc. with Employment Exchange registration number to the Superintendent
of Police, U. T. of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti. The applications should reach
the office of the Superintendent of Police on or before 20.03.2011 and those
applications received after the specified date will not be entertained.
